“The Thunderstorm moved into first place in the Independent Indoor Football Alliance on Saturday with a 48-34 victory over the Kaufman County Crunch at the Galveston Island Convention Center. The victory clinches a playoff berth for Galveston, and if it wins its remaining two games, the city will host the league championship game July 19.”
